Club Info

History

Our club was founded in 1986 and operates within the framework of the Cercle Culturel des Communautés Européennes (CCCE) in Luxembourg and it is governed by the Rules of the Social Activities Committee (C.A.S.) of EU institutions in Luxembourg.

The goals of our club are to promote to promote knowledge of Greek culture with a particular emphasis on Hellenic dances, to organise regular dance classes, workshops, rehearsals, and performances and to organise cultural events and community activities related to Greek culture. We currently have more than 130 active members including a good number of members of non Hellenic nationality. The Club operates on a non-profit basis.

We offer weekly teaching of traditional Greek dances for adults and children. Every year we organise and participate in various cultural events in Luxembourg and give dance performances. • In case you want to join one of our classes and for our better organization, please contact us at our email.

Trial Lesson

You can attend one free trial lesson.

Please let us know in advance which day you would like to attend so that we can add you to the list as a temporary member.

If, however, you do not wish to continue with the course, please let us know so that we can remove your address from the club’s contact lists.

Registration & Subscription

To register, please fill in the online registration form, and then proceed to the payment.

• Adults: 100€ per year (or 50€ if you start after September)
• Children: 60€ per year (or 30€ if you start after September)

The membership fee is payable in full and in one lump sum.

The annual membership for each member is 100€ (50€ for children) and is paid by at the first of each calendar year (January). This is used for financing our Club and allowing us to organize dance seminars, dancing nights or take care of our extensive collection of original traditional costumes. However, in case of doubt, you are more than welcomed to join us in one of our weekly sessions and try for yourself without any obligation to subscribe in advance.
For new members willing to join our Club after September of each year, a 50€ (30€ for kinds) half-year membership shall be available for them for the rest of the calendar year.

For payments you can contact directly our treasurer or you can credit our bank account directly with the corresponding amount, mentioning your Name and Surname in the comments.
