About Us

Why we did it

This site was created with the intention to provide a single point of contact for all members and friends of the Hellenic Culture and Dances Club located in Luxembourg. More specifically:

• Allow users to quickly follow up all announcements for future events, including classes, seminars and social gatherings (a.k.a γλέντια).
• Provide useful contact info for any questions from members or friends
• Browse our gallery of media resources from past events to see that our club is all about having fun.

Privacy Policy

Our club is committed to protecting and handling your personal data responsibly and according to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We only need to collect your email address and the communications with us in the form of emails to facilitate the regular and exceptional activities of our club. We will never use this information for any use beyond that stated or the permissions you give us.

We will retain this information indefinitely unless you withdraw your consent by sending an email to hellenicdances@gmail.com with the subject UNSUBSCRIBE. As well as being able to withdraw consent, you have the right to ask us for a copy of your personal data that we hold, which will be provided to you in a machine readable form. Or you have the right to ask us to amend or delete your personal data. These rights may not always apply, e.g. if you ask us to delete information which we are required by law to keep or have a compelling legitimate interest in keeping. If this is the case then we will inform you when we reply to your request.

Our website does not collect any personal information about you unless you choose to give it to us by completing a form or sending us an email. When you visit our website your browser does send details of your IP (Internet Protocol) address, and sometimes a web address which will identify organisations visiting the site, together with the date and time and other information about your browser and operating system. This information is only used to evaluate how our website is used.
